Our Story

We have received our approval as a non-profit corporation in Arizona, May 2021.  Our next step was to obtain a 501c3 - tax exempt status which did in August 2021.  We look forward to what God has in store for us as we embark on this new venture for Him and with Him at the helm.

As founders of Proclaim Ministries, we would like to share a brief background sketch on each of us.  We are everyday people just like you and have listened closely for what God is calling us to do for Him.   We believe He will give us the wisdom to lead Proclaim Ministries to an ever broader reach for the  fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Tamara Tripp

I retired from my 33 year nursing career and joined with Tracy as "Accidental Missionaries" to In Step Children's Home in 2016. From that point I have never looked back, only forward and upward to how God is leading us to serve Him. I have had the opportunity to serve as an orphanage nurse and assist those in the surrounding community on occasion. God has led us to serve these precious little ones and I have been immeasurably blessed by our serving them. Being able to build personal relationships with the children has made it possible to speak God's love into their lives in ways short term missionaries don't get the opportunity to engage at that level. I am blessed when we go and when I am not there by the memories of the love the children express for what we can give.

Tracy Tripp

I was a retired Higher Education Administrator and Technology Industry Veteran, until I became an "Accidental Missionary" to an orphanage in Kenya. Over the past 6 years, Tamara and I have invested 3-4 months each year to serving at the In Step Children's Home located in the Cherangany Hills of Northwest Kenya.  In Step is home to 208 orphans and continues to grow yearly as children who have been neglected, abused and abandoned are brought to them.

At In Step they have a HOME. A safe place to live, learn and grow in a Christian family.
