Short Term Missionary Visits

Complete start to finish information packets are available for you to get started.

Information useful to going to Kenya on a Short Term Mission trip that falls into two parts. First, the Application and related forms to complete and submit for approval of your visit to the In Step Children’s Home. The second is all the Travel Planning, Information About Living There, and the Kenya Culture that you need or would be nice to know:

vi. Background Check - Active Screening Faith - (emailed invitation once application is received)

vii. Mission Team and Individual Policies Reviewed

Once the Phase 1 Application and background check are submitted they will be reviewed by the In Step Foundation Directors. When approval is received, you will be notified and encouraged to move quickly into Phase 2 that focuses on Getting Ready to GO.

*Visa – There are Several Types – Tourist, Multi-Entry and Special Permit (Work with Proclaim Ministries Missions Coordinator to determine the right combination)

Again, this can be easily overwhelming……so take a bit of it at a time to digest. This all grew out of our personal experiences of wanting information about what we were to experience and would have liked to have known. While we always stay longer that 2 weeks, you can travel over with us and travel home on your own because you know the drill going back. We hope we have covered the initial questions that you might have in thinking about joining us on short term mission trip to Kenya and the In Step orphanage.
